I remember my first Windows Phone was the HTC Titan. I remember that was a behemoth of a phone at the time, and it was so fast compared to anything else I had used so far. Managing MS Office is quite different that managing a company like Nokia. Sometimes companies amplify each other’s strength. The design of the x30, x40, and x50 series of Windows Phone devices have been artisanal diarrhea.

@Jason Haven’t finished reading yet, but I cannot stop myself commenting that Microsofts journey into Mobile started even earlier. It must have been 2nd half of the 90’s that I owned a Philips Niño running Windows CE. It could be synced with a pc. Unless you are going to give a history lesson, there is nothing to say about windows phone or the platform. Apps are more convenient for smaller convertibles and 2in1s. I really don’t see Microsoft’s new mobile strategy as a phoenix ready to rise from the ashes. It’s more like a well done turkey ready to be carved. Windows Phone was a legit third option to go with, even if it was never as huge as the other two. Never had as many apps, never had great user adoption… But it was so promising and appealing to me. Those are just a few reasons why Windows Phone is doing as poorly as it is.

I haven’t been as pleased with the performance of 10 on my 950. I’ve only recently switched fully to Android because MS stopped making Lumia devices and neither of my smart watches will work with the 950.
